That's all I could say when I walked out of the Wellness Weekend. I had just gone through four complementary healing sessions and felt like a million bucks! These people are amazingly kind and I feel truly blessed to have met them. I'll have more thoughts as they crystallize in my mind. Right now I'm feeling such balance and calmness that I only dimly remember my troublesome thoughts. I survived the porcupine quite nicely :)

Sounds like you did some well deserved 'taking care of yourself!'
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, I did "honor myself" and I think this might really be something that works for me. These people are amazing. They showed a depth of kindness, empathy and warmth that I've only felt from a few people, including yourself. I'm so excited that I may have found a "path" (so to speak) to more self exploration and healing. I'm still trying figure out who I am, what I want from my life and how to go about getting it. I thank you and Phil for making this change in my life possible and can never thank you enough for how you changed my life.
ReplyDeleteI do want to send you my heartfelt best wishes for the future. It's people like you that keep the world worth living in and I would love to keep in e-touch if you wish. I always look forward to reading your blog and the comments you make on mine. I'm trying to get more people to read it, but haven't had much success.
PS.
I have a bunch of softball equipment sitting in my shed that needs to find a useful life. If you could use it at your school or somewhere else I'd be glad to drop it off. It's mostly balls, tees, bats, a few gloves and some training devices that I developed.
Yours in recovery,
Ed
